On Sunday, I went to the circus, for the FIRST TIME EVER! I was not exactly sure what to expect from the circus; I assumed clowns, animals, and juggling. Yep the circus had all of those, but it also had so much more. Being fearful of clowns, they actually weren’t creepy, so that was good too. Washington Ave, Mr. Washington Ave, Mr. SassyWriter, and myself had a great time!
BARNUM 200: THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH
Our circus began with old Ringling Brothers banners (which I love). It reminded me of the birth of the circus and Water for Elephants…
We then entered the convention center and I immediately went crazy like a child. I was so excited to see all the food and gift vendors. I guess I thought I was indestructible because I went overboard and ordered lemonade, cotton candy (that came with a free hat), and s’mores…
Finally, the circus entrance begins. Send in the clowns…
The majestic and massive elephants…
Some flying people and high-wires…
Bending contortionists with super-human strength…
Adrenaline junky motorcycle sphere (with 7 motorcyclist)…
Beautiful tigers that roar…

and Elephants that steal the show (with poop to shovel as well)!
Through fire, confetti, and a women with a beard; the circus was fabulous! It was so much more than I expected. Cheers to all of the people and animals of the circus. I wanted to bring all the animals home with me to live in my tiny backyard! Of course, the tigers might eat my dog, and I kind of like her too much for that to happen!
GO TO THE CIRCUS, it is not just for the kids!
